    Product characteristics

    1. Globe valve relies on stem pressure, so that the valve disc sealing surface and seat sealing surface closely adhere to prevent the flow of media. It belongs to forced sealing valve.

    2. The medium flow direction of globe valve includes "low in, high out" and "high in and low out", which only permits one-way flow of medium and has directionality when installed.

    3. When the globe valve is opened, when the opening height of the disc reaches 25%-30% of the nominal diameter of the globe valve, the flow rate reaches the maximum, which means that the globe valve has reached the full open position.

    4. The structure of globe valve is simpler than that of gate valve, and its manufacture and maintenance are more convenient.

    5. The sealing surface is not easy to wear and scratch, and has good sealing performance. There is no relative sliding between the disc and the sealing surface of the valve body when the valve is opened and closed, so the wear and scratch are not serious, the sealing performance is good and the service life is long.

    6. When opening and closing, the disc travel is small, so the height of the globe valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the length of the structure is longer than that of the gate valve.

    7. The opening and closing moment is large and laborious. The disc is often eroded when fully opened.

    8. Fluid resistance is large, because the medium passage inside the valve body is tortuous, fluid resistance is large, and power consumption is large.
